With Maitland Train Station being only a short 8 minute walk from the event site, catching a train into Maitland Aroma is one of the easiest ways to get into the event.

With the amount of people attending the event, parking can become an issue for some.
Taxi Services will be available throughout the event weekend.

Maitland Aroma will bring the community together in a COVID Safe way to celebrate the great food, freshly ground coffee beans, rich melted chocolate and decadent dishes descend from Maitland and the Hunter Region.
In line with the current advice from NSW Health, Maitland Aroma is currently proceeding as planned. The events staff at Maitland Aroma have put in a number of measures to help reduce the risks for COVID-19:
The footprint of the event will be expanded from Riverside Carpark into The Levee to spread crowd numbers.
The hours of the event have been extended to allow more time for people to come and go as they please throughout the day and the night.
Attendance at Maitland Aroma has been limited to 1 person per 2 square metres.
A number of hands free sanitizer stations have been purchased and will be scattered throughout the events sites, as well as bottles of hand sanitizer at activity areas.
All event attendees will be required to check in via the QR code on entry to spaces.
Maitland Aroma will have a detailed COVID-19 Safety Plan and will require attendees to check in, maintain appropriate social distancing, and abide by all COVID-19 recommendations whilst attending the event.
If you are planning to be an event attendee, please respect the advice from NSW Health, which encourages you to:
Stay home and not attend if you are feeling unwell
Stay home and not attend if you have been to a country considered at higher risk in the past 14 days
Symptoms of COVID-19 Include:
Fever (37.5 ° Or Higher)
Shortness of Breath (Difficulty Breathing)
Loss of Taste
Loss of Smell
Other Reported Symptoms Include:
Acute Blocked Nosed (Congestion)
Loss of Appetite.
Unexplained chest pain and conjunctivitis have also been reported as symptoms of COVID-19.
In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia with severe acute respiratory distress.
We ask that all event attendees practice simple hygiene by:
Making sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water (additional hand washing stations will be available at the event), or use an alcohol-based hand rub
Covering your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or a flexed elbow.

- In accordance with Government health requirements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, patrons (including staff, contractors, and general public) who enter the event site for the event are required to check in via the QR code on entry to the event site and activated spaces.
Any person coming to the event site, either in a working capacity or as a visitor MUST NOT attend:
- If they are unwell
- If they have been diagnosed as having COVID-19
- If they have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or currently awaiting COVID-19 test results.
All persons entering or intending to enter the event site are advised to:
- Check in with the Service NSW app
- Avoid unnecessary contact (i.e. shaking hands, hugging, etc.)
- Maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5 metres from others
- Practice good hand hygiene
- Immediately notify a staff member if they begin to feel ill, or are developing any COVID-19 symptoms (including fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell/taste, runny nose, muscle pain, nausea/vomiting, diarrhoea) whilst on site.
NOTE: If a person is suffering from or displaying any of these symptoms, the event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to or exclude that person from the site.
